Automatic Fire and Explosion Suppression System

UV/IRx detectors installed on armored personnel carriers send a signal to the control box when any flame is detected. Ensures the tubes in the personnel section become activated.

Key Features

  • Triple sensor including single UV/dual IR
  • High-speed detection – in less than 3 milliseconds
  • Rapid gas release – in less than 8 milliseconds
  • Extinguishing time in less than 250 seconds
  • Sensitive to slow-propagating fires
  • Power & error signals
  • Button for controlled integrated manual activation
  • Optional secondary manual activation button
  • Sensitive to false alarm
  • Flawless operation for a minimum of 50,000 hours
  • CANBUS communication system
  • High reliability
  • Tested for military and industrial use. MIL-STD-810G / 1275B / 461E / 7905H

Optical UV/IR Detector

  • The detector controls the flame emission with UV and IR wavelengths. An IR detector is also used to detect major heat sources to prevent false alarms.
  • The detector communicating with CANBUS communication interface can detect and verify flame in less than 3 milliseconds.

Key Features

  • Triple sensor including single UV/dual IR
  • High-speed detection in less than -3 milliseconds
  • Sensitive to slow-propagating fires
  • Sensitive to false alarm
  • Discriminating (Optional)
  • Automatic and manual build-in-tests
  • CANBUS communication system
  • Flawless operation for a minimum of 50,000 hours
  • Meets requirements for military use
  • High reliability
  • Ability to use internal and external temperature sensor

High-Speed Extinguishers

  • The fire extinguishers contain nitrogen gas together with the environmentally friendly fire suppression gas HFC227-EA (FM200).
  • The special design of the cylinder main valve, tube and nozzle ensures that the explosion suppression gas is spread quickly and homogeneously in the protected area.
  • Cylinders tubes also have different variations of volumes, the main valve assembly also incorporates various safety elements, such as a safe discharge valve.

Key Features

  • High ignition speed in less than 2 milliseconds
  • Air-tight sealed valve
  • Rapid release of explosion suppression gas (<8 ms)
  • Pressure sensor with high precision and accuracy
  • Reliable dry type manometer
  • Flawless operation for a minimum of 50,000 hours
  • Meets requirements for military use
  • High reliability
